OBSERVING SHADOW PATTERN AND LIGHT FORMATIONS ON A SURFACE Overall satisfied with the result. However, I think the smaller object should have been a little shorter. Loved the gradual tone shift in the shadow of the smaller object. Unfortunately very little reflected light for either object.
TONAL SOURCES This sketch took a little longer. All round okay - but perspective needs work, particularly for shadows that go a little behind objects. The pencil in the drawing wasn't very good - I think I was by the many tiny details on it.
TONE AND FORM - CHECK AND LOG - Sense of form: The last sketch was the best one as in all the others the tone didn't completely follow the shape of the object. - Observing the light pattern before starting: A little bit. Should do it a lot more - take even more time. That should improve my sketches quite a bit. - Observing primary and reflected light: Tried to, though in all drawings very little reflected light as far as I could see. Should pay more attention to it.
