I was aiming here at creating more of a"feeling" of movement in my drawings of people. If I ever want to do anything other then portraiture, then this is a skill I will need.
Got some sense of movement. However: - the "line of balance" was off a bit in the first sketch. - sketch lines weren't very fluid and was or twice I felt that they verged on "chicken scratching."
All this to say: - gesture is key to understanding how the human form moves. - Must practice more of it. Would be great if I could draw fluid, continous lines going fro head to foot.
