Tried studying fabric before applying that knowledge to fabric on the human figure.
The first two larger drawing were simply awful! Really lernt just how bad my understaning of fabric is.
The 5 min. small sketches were better. Some things I've observed: - What fabric looks like (in terms of tone) all depends on the strength and position of the source of light. I should be thinking about this the whole way through the drawing "how is the light source affecting the shadows and highlights?" - ALWAYS start with the basic tone and then build up.
